Expenditures for Medical Services in Public Assistance, 1946

چکیده
A special study conducted by public assistance agencies in 20 States in 1946 gave answers for thefirst time to questions about the types and amount of medical services the agencies were able to provide to assistance recipients and the costs of the various services. An article in the Bulletin for June 1952 discussed medical services for aged recipients. This article deals with the costs of such services in the four programs in operation in 1946-old-age assistance, aid to dependent children, aid to the blind, and general assistance.
